Month Five!!

Emma's Baptism!!

On April 19th, 2009, Emma Claire was baptized at Arborlawn United Methodist Church. Reverend Ben Disney performed the baptism and Emma was GREAT the whole time. She made sure that she got to talk into the microphone as well. It was such a special occassion. Emma had her grandparents and almost all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins there. Her great Aunt Becky, great Uncle Larry and my friends Paige and Sujata- all came to celebrate the occassion. Unfortunately, Emma's dad got sick towards the end of the service and had to leave early- so he is not in all of the photos :( It was definitely a memorable day!

Emma's Grandma & Auntie Carolyn Come to Visit!

Emma got to meet her Auntie Carolyn!!! (Carolyn Emma, that is!). And also got to visit with her Grandma Rodwell again in April! She loved every minute of it!! They did a great job helping Emma's dad take care of Emma the first week that I went back to work. They did lots of fun things- including going on lots of walks, reading to her, playing on her playmat with her (especially listening to the "bonga bonga" monkey sing!), and so many other fun things. Emma sure got spoiled this week with soooo much love and attention- she loved every minute of it!
